POISON CHALICE

From Alchemy Gothic (AAG17)

A classic C.15th/16th chalice of grand proportions, built on a sexfoil base with encroaching ivy, and it's fluted column set with six red and black Austrian crystal 'poison ivy berries'. 7-3/4" (200mm) high overall, the inscriptive band around the cup reads 'One poison drives out another'.

Ornamental and decorative or not, drinking from pewter is a sensuous experience, and from a beautifully designed and handcrafted vessel such as this lead free high-Gothic goblet, it is indescribable.

Alchemy Gothic Goblets, Chalices and Glassware are created from the finest English Pewter, and most glassware is traditionally hand blown.
